A Little Love from the Husband

Hey All - I just got home from class and Chandler had written a blog post for me to post because life's been hectic and he wanted to help me out. He's so sweet. Anyway, if any of you are men reading this, what he did is a dang good way to make your wife happy! :) I'm a little embarrassed to be posting this because of all the cutesy stuff he says about me, but here you go! I hope you enjoy  ~Allie

Hey Bloggers

My name is Chandler Olsen, the lucky husband of Allie Olsen. Allie has worked very hard on this blog over the last few months. There have been ups and downs. She has come to me excited showing me how well a post was received and other times I’ve come home to find her down and unsure whether she should continue trying. I always try to figure out ways to help her but unfortunately it’s hard to keep up with a creative and caring person such as herself. That being said, I find the best way to show her I care is to do things I normally would not do. Example, watch pride and prejudice (not the short one but the five hour one), Eat at Arby’s (I prefer Taco Bell but sometimes I have to make sacrifices) or sit in an uncomfortable position and “Play with her hair”.
This time I’ve come up with this Blog post. I normally stay far away from Social Media and hide on my couch playing PS3, but for her I’m willing to give it a shot.
Not knowing how these things are supposed to work I’ll just keep it as simple as possible. Allie loved Trick or Treating when she was young unfortunately that is mostly for children and we don’t get around to much Trick or treating now. So a few days ago I stealthily asked her what her top four candies were. She told me Airheads, Laffy Taffy, Swedish Fish, and Sour Patch Kids. The next day I ran to Wal-Mart and bought a glass container shaped like an apple (there were pumpkins but I thought an apple can represent almost every holiday while a pumpkin really only applies to Halloween and maybe fall.)
Here is a picture of the container after I washed it.

P.S. forgive my poor picture. I am NOT a photographer.

After washing out the container I filled it in layers with all her favorite candies.

I started with the Sour patch kids because they have that sour sugar on them and I thought it might get all over the other candies. Everything else should be pretty self-explanatory. Here is my attempt at a Beautiful Photo.

Now I’m sure this blog post seems very amateur and maybe a little cliche but I’m not doing it for all of you, although I would appreciate it if you all liked this because that always seems to make my wife happy. But anyhow I did this for my wife. Thanks hon for all your hard work. I love you and hope that you know that I will always be there for you. Love that guy who takes up most the bed. :)

  4. Chandler is the best! I'm so glad you found such a great man to marry. He is such a thoughtful person and full of fun too. His "Beautiful Photo" made me laugh hard! I think his next post should be a picture of the "Chandler loves Kathy" stick he made me for my washing machine.
